“Awfully Late,” the principal tune from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cinderella,” has been delivered in front of the collection drop on July 9.

Lloyd Webber’s music will highlight, alongside verses by David Zippel (“City of Angels”). Laurence Connor (“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”) is ready to coordinate; Joann M. Tracker will fill in as choreographer.
The new melodic will open at London’s Gillian Lynne Theater on July 14; reviews start on June 25.
“Extremely Late” was first divulged to crowds in September 2020 with an exhibition by Lloyd Webber and Carrie Hope Fletcher from Her Majesty’s Theater, in London.
The cast recording collection was composed and delivered during lockdown and highlights voices from the cast of the new melodic, just as some destined to-be-reported visitor performers.
Talking with Variety in March, during practices, Webber said, “We just had our initial arrived behind schedule for Emerald. She hadn’t really heard her content interestingly appropriately. It was a totally phenomenally enthusiastic second for us all since we resembled, ‘Goodness, my God, we’re in a theater. We’re really doing what we do.’ I strolled off to the back and I should say, I had a tear.”
Fletcher who has showed up on the West End in “Heathers” and “Mary Poppins” will star in the number one spot. Other West End entertainers cast are Ivano Turco as Prince Sebastian, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the Stepmother, Caleb Roberts as Prince Charming, Rebecca Trehearn as the Queen, Laura Baldwin and Georgina Castle as the Stepsisters and Gloria Onitiri as the Godmother.
